Without Love, I Am … was a performance created in collaboration with Jeanette Löfgren. The piece explores different facets of love: self-love, as represented by me, and Jeanette’s expression of love for her grandmother and the memory she left behind. Through this duality, we reflect on love’s complexities, from the personal to the intergenerational.

Duration: 2 hours.

Manifesto for Self-Love: A Healing Journey in Three Steps

Part 1: Daring to See Yourself in the Mirror
I begin with the courage to face myself, not as a critic, but with compassion. For too long, the mirror reflected my insecurities and fears, fueling self-criticism. But today, I choose to see it as a tool for discovery. Do I dare to look beyond the surface, to embrace my whole self—flaws and all? This first step is about ending self-judgment and beginning self-acceptance. I see my story, my struggles, and my survival. Today, I choose to see myself with love. My question to you: Do you choose to truly see yourself in the mirror?

Part 2: Accepting What You See in the Mirror
After daring to see myself, I now face a deeper challenge: embracing every part of who I am. This isn’t easy—it’s a conscious choice. I fight because we all deserve love and self-love. Letting go of self-judgment means accepting my whole being—my past, flaws, and strengths. I now realize I don’t need to change to be worthy of love; I am enough as I am. I choose to accept and respect my body, which has carried me through life’s journey. Every scar and imperfection tells a story of resilience and growth. Embracing myself fully means understanding my value, not despite my flaws but with them. In this acceptance, I find peace and deeper self-love.
Today, I choose to accept myself, every part of me—strengths and vulnerabilities alike. Do you dare to accept yourself?

Part 3: Loving What You See in the Mirror
Loving yourself is a conscious, daily choice. It’s about feeling free and safe in your own body and soul. I now see beyond the surface to the strength and beauty in my journey. I love myself—not for achievements, but for who I am. My flaws make me real; my strengths push me forward. By loving myself, I find the freedom to live fully and peacefully. When we love ourselves, we create a world where everyone feels accepted just as they are.

I love myself.
