“Art is a way to learn and teach—how to push people to listen, to think, to exist.”

Choice is a two-screen video installation centered on the environmental decisions we face as humans. Using video and installation, the piece poses a crucial question: “What do we want to choose?”

The installation features two identical 3-minute, slow-motion videos filmed in Tyresta National Park, Stockholm. The videos are displayed simultaneously on two adjacent monitors, with the key difference being their soundtracks. One conveys the serenity of nature, while the other reflects the impact of human activity on the environment. Viewers experience each soundscape individually through headphones, allowing one person at a time to engage fully. Choice invites reflection on our environmental responsibilities, raising awareness about the planet and reminding us that the power to choose is in our hands. But will we dare to make the right choice?
